Story Behind "Celebrate Christmas With Bukky"Album​
This album was recorded after some serious soul searching during the Christmas season one year. I had "googled" just for fun to find out which were the top one hundred Christmas Songs, but to my alarm in that year, only three or so on the list had anything to do with the REASON for Christmas; JESUS' BIRTH. I also had some friends do the same exercise with me and they all got the same result. Then we also noticed that for quite a while now, many of the Christmas songs and symbols had little or nothing to do with JESUS BIRTH. There were many songs about the Christmas tree, much ado about Santa, ornaments, jingle bells, and the cold weather outside, but not the songs that shared the true message of Christmas. There was very little acknowledgment of the savior's birth. So with all of the production value and muscle that we could muster in a hurry, we got working to play our small part in reversing this sad trend. Our team really appreciates your support in putting the CHRIST back in CHRISTMAS. Christmas is a very special time for sharing and this album is perfect for all.

​ABOUT BUKKY (Book - E) An American born to Nigerian parents, "Bukky Agboola has been blessed to be an ordained minister of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ for over two decades and released four gospel albums, two of which were sold out during her tours all over Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Her voice offers us a fresh brand in this genre, as she continues to travel extensively sharing the gospel's good news. 

Bukky Agboola is a Christian author, speaker, and gospel recording artist. She is a New York City Big Book Award winner and graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. Her book I Made it Through tells her life story and struggles following the 1983 military takeover in Nigeria. She has been an ordained minister for over two decades and has released four gospel albums, two of which were sold out during her tours in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Amazing Grace is her latest CD release.
  A graduate of one of Africa's top Universities, The University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria, and Award winner at the Coulsdon and Purley Music Festival in England. Bukky describes her songs as soul opening good news music to draw people closer to God. First based in the UK, her music ministry began with leading praise and worship at her local church, and upon winning a regional music festival award in the UK, she was featured in the Guardian & Herald newspapers as an upcoming gospel artist. 
  
The Christian Music Magazine Cross Rhythms also gave her music the thumbs up. A wide variety of churches, groups, and organizations have been blessed by her ministry. She headlined a memorable gospel concert at the London City Temple with the Rev Bazil Meade and The London Community Gospel Choir. This choir's credits include Royal performances for her Majesty the Queen, concerts, videos, and studio recordings with a lengthy list of well-known artists, including Puff Daddy, Mariah Carey, Sting, and Paul McCartney 
  
Bukky has also had the privilege of ministering for Gospel music great, multiple Grammy award winner with a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, the late Pastor Andrae Crouch and his sister Pastor Sandra Crouch at the New Christ Memorial Church in San Fernando, California, and the widely known and respected preacher and evangelist Bishop E C Reems.
